How to Clone Yourself with AI in Just 5 Mins !

Hi guys, so in today’s article, I’m going to show you how you can make your own AI clone in just 5 minutes. I created an AI clone for myself, and this is how it looks. Just watch this article till the end. Imagine that you don’t need to set up cameras or do any shooting. Just give it some text, and your AI clone will do the video for you. Sounds exciting, right? This is Brant from Upstate Learners, and let’s get started. So to make our AI clone, we’re going to use a tool called HeyGen Labs. So just go there and sign up with your Google account. Once you’re signed in, just go to the free instant avatar and click Get Started. Now you have to submit footage to HeyGen so that it can train the AI model to create a replica of yourself. Now there are some instructions that we must follow while recording the sample video. Now, you have two options here. I prefer text instructions, so let me quickly walk through these steps.

First, let’s record a video that is at least 2–5 minutes long, because this will help the AI analyze your moves, gestures, voice, accent, and tone to give you the best output. Make sure you upload a high-quality video, preferably 4K or 1080p. The background or the place should be well lit, which means your lighting has to be perfect. While recording, you need to look directly into the camera, and you also need to pause between each sentence with your mouth closed. This might sound tricky and feel unnatural too, but it really helps to get the best output. Then use simple hand movements; keep your hands below your chest. Okay, now let’s move on to the don’ts. You should not have any cuts in the footage. Record a continuous video of 2–5 minutes max. Do not change your position; just be in one single position. Then avoid using hand gestures like this or this because AI might find it difficult to analyze them properly. Once you’re done recording the video, click the next step. Now here, you need to upload your video. If you want to directly record yourself using the webcam, you can do it. But obviously, we all know that the quality won’t be good. I recommend that you choose the upload option.

So let’s click on that. If your video is around 5 GB, you can upload it to your Google Drive and then add the link here. If it’s less than 2GB, you can directly drag and drop it here. Now this is the video that I’m going to upload. So let’s drag it and drop it here. Hey, this is Bram from Upset Learners, and this is a sample video that I’m about to upload to create my own clone. I’ll be using a tool called Hagen Labs. Now you need to confirm whether your video meets all these points. So let’s quickly check and enable it. Once you’re done, click, and my footage looks good. And here is the important step. You need to give your consent to HeyGen. That is, you’re giving HeyGen permission to create an AI clone of you. This is to ensure that no one can randomly upload an existing video of you to HeyGen Labs and create an AI clone of you without you knowing it. Now you have two choices. You can either upload your consent here or directly record it. I’m going to record it now. Just click on it, and it will give you the script for which you need to speak. So let’s click here to turn on the camera and mic and then read the given script. Hereby, I declare that I authorize Hagen Labs to use the footage of me. Now we need to wait till our concept is validated, which might take around 10 to 20 seconds. Once that’s done, click submit. As you can see, our video is being uploaded, and it’s done. You can also see that it says our avatar will be ready in just a few minutes. So, let’s click done. And our avatar is ready. So let’s have a look. Hey, Brian, your instant avatar is ready. Feel free to create videos with it. Also, click the feedback button to share what you think. I hope you enjoy.

Well, the video looks actually pretty good, and it got my expressions and hand gestures right, but my voice doesn’t sound good. To solve this, we can just record your own voice and let it generate the video for it. Let’s see how it works. Just click Create Video, and it will take you to the Hedge and Editing section. Here, you can write any script you want. Now, instead of entering the written script here, let’s try the audio script. You can upload an audio file here, or you can directly record your voice by clicking here. I am going to upload my audio, so just drag and drop the audio here. Let’s listen to it. Hey, it’s Brian. Today, we’re doing something awesome. We’re going to create our own website, and guess what? We’ll do it in just 10 minutes. and then click submit, and as you can see, this is going to cost you around 0.5 credits. We’ll see the pricing plan in the later part of the video, so let’s click submit. Our video is getting ready, and it’s done, so let’s see how it looks. Hey, it’s Brian. Today we’re doing something awesome. We’re going to create our own website, and guess what? We’ll do it in just 10 minutes. I know it sounds like a challenge, but I promise it’s simpler than you think. Whether it’s for your business or just to showcase your passion, we’ll have a website up and running in no time. The video came out really well. And now to download this video, just select the video resolution, click here, and your video will be saved to your computer. Next, let’s move on to the pricing plan. Now, basically, in the free plan, you will get one free credit, using which you can create a video of one minute. Also, it gives you one free instant avatar. Videos below 30 seconds will cost you around 0.5 credits, and anything between 30 and 60 seconds will count as 1 credit. And that’s how it works. In the paid plan, you can select the number of credits you want. And if you go for 15 credits, it will cost you around 29 dollars, using which you can create 15 1-minute videos. You also get three instant avatars and other premium options too.

So select a plan based on your requirements. Another important feature that I want to share with you is fine-tuning. As we saw, the tool did an amazing job, but if you’re really interested in creating videos using HeyGen, you can use the fine-tune feature to get a better result than the normal version. To do that, just click on fine-tune on your video, and as you can see here, it is an add-on that you have to buy separately. Here, you can choose whether to fine-tune the video or just the voice. Fine-tuning gives you a high-quality output with better lip sync. But the only thing is that it takes around 8 hours to fine-tune your video. I would suggest you leave it overnight for the fine-tune process to complete, and your video will be ready in the morning. Okay, so now I’m going to use my AI avatar to do the outro for this video, using the fine-tune option, so that you get to see the result and decide whether it’s worth it for you. So here you go. So that’s it, guys. This is how you can create an AI clone of yourself using HeyGenLabs.
